How to Enroll

SSI Advocacy services are available to adults and children receiving CalWORKs and adults with no dependents receiving General Assistance (GA) who may qualify for SSI, SSDI, or CAPI. 

This may include individuals who are:

  • Homeless
  • Seniors
  • HIV positive
  • Adults and children with special needs due to mental or physical impairments

If you think you may be eligible, please contact your Alameda County Social Services Social Worker or contact your nearest office. You can also ask an eligibility worker or Employment Counselor for a referral to see a Social Worker for SSI Advocacy services.
