Receive IHSS
You can apply for in-home assistance with day to day activities such as:
- Housecleaning
- Meal Preparation
- Laundry
- Grocery Shopping
- Personal Care Services
- Assistance with medical appointments
- Protective supervision to safeguard against injury, hazard, or accident
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive In-Home Support, you must:
- Be a California resident;
- Have a valid Social Security Number (SSN);
- Qualify for full-scope Medi-Cal;
- Live at home or an abode of your choosing that is NOT a board and care facility, nursing home, or a hospital;
- Demonstrate a need for assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs); and
- Submit a Health Care Certification Form SOC 873 completed and signed by your doctor.
